Where do you go for health advice? With so much information available via the web, TV and general media it is difficult to sort myth from fact and common fallacy. Common questions like “what should I eat” “what kind of exercise is best for me”, “How do I remove my flabby bits here” are all common concerns. There is a strong argument that we are the sickest generation of people to have walked the earth and so with all this information, concerns and questions comes this blog. This blog is grounded in the peak of science so that I can dispel some of those myths for you.

BIOGRAPHY JAMES SMITH

James has an absolute obsession about being the best you can possibly be, with the circumstances you have been dealt. From professional squash player to receiving the Exercise Professional of the Year in South Australia, James’ commitment to being the best, morphs into outcomes for his clients. He boasts a success rate of 110% as a coach, meaning that each and every coaching client he works with is hitting not only all their objectives but more………..

With a background of working as a personal training manager at LA Fitness, London at the age of 23, then later climbing the ranks within Genesis Fitness Clubs Australia supporting new personal trainers, James has had a taste at a variety of roles and jobs within the industry. However, his commitment to ‘being your best’ directed him towards his own PT business. He is the owner of The Smiths Personal Training based at ‘The Bay’, Glenelg in South Australia. He describes the Smiths as a health and wellbeing business with a focus on 1:1 Personal Training and Corporate Health programs.  He has delivered Corporate Health Programs for clients including Minter Ellison and Flinders Reproductive Medicine along the way developing skills as an author, coach and consultant.

James's obsession is to amplify his clients’ results to make a positive difference to their health and fitness outcomes so that they achieve lifestyles they deserve. When working with James you will be directed towards working smarter, living more actively, you will learn to play hard and to rest even harder.
